Social Media Coordinator

In this role, you will assist the marketing team with various tasks related to content creation, community engagement, and digital marketing in order to expand our online presence. You will work alongside a team and on your own, engaging with our audience and promoting our brand through various online platforms. 


Founded in 2015, Merdzic Transportation Services Inc was originally started in Kentucky and expanded into Florida operations in 2022 and we continue to grow. Requirements and Skills

  • Respond to all daily comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner. 

  • Foster positive interactions with followers and customers to build and maintain a strong online community. 

  • Seek out new social media avenues and ways of connecting with audiences.

  • Drive more engagement on our social media pages and grow the followers.

  • Come up with new and improve current content ideas.

  • Analyze latest social media trends to identify opportunities for growth.

  • Develop a content schedule for each social media platform.

Job Schedule

  • Full-time position

  • Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm

  • Must be located in Jacksonville, FL or willing to move to Jacksonville, FL

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, business or a related field is preferred but not required. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
