In this role, you will work directly with customers and drivers to assist with day-to-day operations and maximize efficiency.

Requirements and Skills

​

  • Ensure timely deliveries by verifying, scheduling and rescheduling pick up and delivery appointments

  • Tracking shipment updates and notifying our customers at required intervals

  • Paying for lumpers and supplying customer with receipt

  • Collecting detention on driver's behalf when applicable

  • Provide drivers with cost-effective fuel plans en route

  • Strengthen relationships with drivers and customers by providing them both with excellent customer service

  • Collaborate with colleagues on a daily basis

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with rapid change

Job Schedule

​

  • Full-time position

  • Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm

  • Must be located in Jacksonville, FL or willing to move to Jacksonville, FL

Qualifications

​

  • 1-2 years of experience in dispatching and/or freight brokerage is preferred but not required. We will incorporate a training window to prepare you for the available position and help you advance in this career.

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in a business related field is preferred
